Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Syracuse, NY, for a Line Cook and Pizza Maker at Franco's Pizzeria & Deli. The Line Cook and Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, pastas, and other menu items to order. Duties include ensuring food quality, following recipes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen sanitation standards
- Proficiency in making pizzas, including dough preparation and baking techniques
- Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and ensure food quality and consistency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience in handling kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean workspace
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
