Truckload Planner / Customer Service Representative


Design Transportation, a Dallas based, Truckload Carrier, is seeking a Load Planner/CSR representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self- motivated and possess strategic knowledge of planning & scheduling drivers. We are currently running an average of 70 trucks, both OTR & Regional, and have been in business for over 30 years.

Annual Salary: starts at $62K

  Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  
  • Load planning for trucks in the TX OK AR MS regions.
    
  • Booking loads with existing customers, as well as negotiating broker s rates.
    
  • Maintaining Trailer Pools in Dallas and Houston.
    
  • Loading trucks to our Customer freight market.
    
  • Load Scheduling.
    
  • Answering emails quickly and efficiently.
    
  • Answering phones.
    
  • Honoring Driver s time off request.
    
  • Being a team player.
    
  • Shift: (6:00am-3:00pm) Monday Friday. Rotating day Saturday every 4 weeks. (No remote work available)
    
  • All other duties as assigned
    Requirements:
    
    • Must have High School or equivalent
      
    • Mcleod TMS system a plus
      
    • Must be familiar with HOS
      
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Truckload Transportation.
