What you'll do...
Online Assist is a virtual service clients can choose to add on to their H&R Block online tax preparation experience. The Online Assist service is a chat and outgoing phone call and video experience, equipped with real-time screen-share between clients and tax experts. Tax pros can contact clients via phone or live video during screen-share sessions to quickly help resolve client questions and alleviate filing concerns. Online Assist enables a tax professional to answer targeted tax questions or address navigation issues along with the client as they are completing their online return. With unlimited chat availability to the client, tax agents can answer a few questions or double-check parts of the client's tax return. However, tax preparers will not receive or review source docs or make any edits to a client's tax return. The Online Assist tax pro is not signing the tax return.

Partner with DIY clients and answer clients immediate tax questions.
Research when you don't know the answer to a tax question
Explain calculations, where to enter data into the program.
Learn our do-it-yourself online program and our software tools to communicate clearly with customers via chat, video, screen share or on the phone.
Pass training related to the effective and efficient performance of job duties.
