Responsible for management of the Dick's Sporting Goods equity compensation program, providing support to the Vice President of Total Rewards & HRIS on all areas of executive compensation, and supporting broad based compensation programs, as needed.

The Role You'll Play:

Oversee all aspects of the Dick's Sporting Goods Equity Compensation Program, including:
  • Annual equity grant process to nearly 4,000 teammates & monthly off-cycle equity grants
  • E*TRADE platform management and reporting
  • Keeps apprised of evolving laws to ensure programs are in compliance
  • Conduct research on various equity topics
  • Develop equity related communication materials
  • Key Liaison to Finance, Legal, Payroll, and Tax
  • Assists in creation of annual Proxy and other SEC filings
  • Provides assistance in design and execution of Long-Term Incentive Plan
  • Knowledgeable on accounting, legal, and tax implications related to equity
Support Vice President of Total Rewards & HRIS in all areas of Executive Compensation:
  • Assist in preparing materials for Compensation Committee meetings
  • Assist in design of annual incentive plan and long-term incentive programs
  • Conduct analysis on executive compensation programs and support continued evolution of programs to align the interests of executives with those of shareholders
  • Provide support and interact with the external consultant to the Compensation Committee on market pricing, peer group selection, proxy advisory firms, risk assessment, and Director compensation
  • Assist in preparation of the annual proxy, including the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A)
Provide analytical and strategic support on major compensation initiatives and broad based compensation programs, as needed.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Seven to ten years of compensation or financial experience
  • CEP designation preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to develop and produce meaningful reports from multiple streams of data
  • Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Ability to simply and concisely convey complex ideas
