Customer Service Product Supply Account Lead III - eCommerce

As a Customer Service Product Supply Account Lead III, you will support a high level of customer service and operations for an eCommerce Channel or Customer-Facing Commercial Team. This position will drive digital operations process optimization and supply chain issue management. Position requires ability and willingness to recognize, recommend, and lead process improvement efforts across multiple disciplines. Position requires full proficiency of the organization, our products, processes and services. A highly motivated, team player who consistently provides a superior customer experience is required.

Additionally the Product Supply Account Lead III leads the coordination, compilation and evaluation of a highly accurate volume forecast at a Customer, Sales Channel, Customer-level and Package Category/SKU level using historical trends, secondary data sources, and field sales information. The analyst will be responsible for tracking performance, evaluating risks and opportunities, and driving continual improvements in performance. This position serves as a primary resource for key stakeholders in sales, commercial/marketing, operations, and finance to arrive at the most accurate demand requirements. This role should provide insight and recommendations predicated on analytics, customer and consumer driven data, and recognized best practices in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

What you will do:
  • Manage digital operations process optimization and supply chain issue management.
  • Compile and evaluate a market-based and event-driven forecast for in-line products, new products, business development and market assessment.
  • Partner with internal customers such as product commercial/marketing, finance, brand management, sale, and customer marketing to collaborate on a forecast recommendation.
  • Utilize available sources of customer data available for forecasting and supply chain management to effectively mine and summarize data for interpretation.
  • Supports Customers, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care team in order-entry and order-management.
  • Understand how sales trends, promotional activity and shipment patterns will affect demand and make appropriate adjustments to forecasts.
  • Create a positive experience for the Customer by consistently providing superior service.
  • Work with finance to provide supporting data to translate rolling forecast into financial models.
  • Supports order fulfillment activities between Logistics, Order Management and Distribution Centers (DCs).
  • Manages escalated and unresolved issues in cost-efficient and timely manner. Process requires effective decision making, priority management and teamwork with the supply chain.
  • Represents team on cross-functional task-force projects and initiatives.
  • Track and improve forecast accuracy metrics.
  • Serve as effective backup to other Product Supply Account Leads and Demand Planning Analysts.
  • Support model creation for annual volume budget process as needed.
  • Acquire new skills and knowledge to stay at the forefront of demand planning and demand planning systems.
  • Models the Keurig Green Mountain values.
  • Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Green Mountain and the department.
  • Performs other job related duties as requested by management.

Characteristics for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics or similar analytical degree highly preferred; MBA or MPA degree also preferred
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong deductive reasoning, statistical analysis, mathematical and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in an changing, fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot quickly and be flexible
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable learning and working with a variety of technology tools (ERP systems, Trade and Demand management systems, Reporting and ad-hoc data retrieval tools) including advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) including ability to utilize pivot tables, V-lookups, filters, and summarize data graphically
  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participates in continuous process improvement on the job, and follows our manufacturing best practices.
  • Requires full knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

What you must have:
  • 3 years of experience performing sales, forecasting or marketing analysis in the consumer products industry or progressive experience in product supply (preferably for a manufacturer of consumer products)
  • Prior experience working with eCommerce pure play retailers (e.g. Amazon, Wayfair, Boxed, Fresh Direct)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Demantra or similar demand-planning software experience or Order Management/ERP systems
