Come and join the Core-Mark Family as a Driver Check In Associate! In this position you will be greeting our drivers and assisting them with their returns and will be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is properly completed and all product is processed accurately. We offer a generous benefit package, 401k with company match, and paid time off.
This full time schedule will be Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with possible overtime as business needs require.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately record all drivers' crates as well as empty and full tote counts immediately upon return to the warehouse.
-Check in customer returns against the pick-up slip
-Responsible for logging all returns as well as returns not picked up; forms and logs will be provided.
-As returns are checked in they are then to be palletized and once full wrapped, dated and taken to the dry room to be processed.
-Make sure all refrigerated/frozen product returned cold/frozen is handled and stored properly. Dry ice and arctics will be made available and once processed and ready are to be communicated to transportation in order to be shuttled out.
-Sort and place empty totes on pallets, crate and stage for warehouse to distribute to pick lines.

Position requirements and qualifications:

-Excellent organization skills are a must
-Able to stand and/or walk 90% of the shift, safely lift and stack totes up to six high, frequently lift and/or move light and heavy totes/product.
-Operate pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise / Opportunity to obtain powered industrial truck certification will be provided and deemed an asset.
-Accurately maintain forms and logs

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to read, write and understand instructions and computerized reports and labels in English; recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers. Must be able to read product dates and information quickly and accurately. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide 3-4 digit numbers.
