Job Overview

As the Sales Analyst and support for Grocery East accounts, you will work with the VP/GM, Directors and National Account Executives (NAE) in Grocery East to support our Team strategic vision of driving Mutually Profitable Growth (MPG) and deliver on our annual plan targets on Volume, Revenue, and Margin growth.

Primary job functions include supporting the New England Regional Accounts team with analysis and timely submission of pricing to customers' portals, New Item Maintenance/Set Up, Internal/External communication to key stakeholders, and support on development of annual Joint Business Plans. You will support the business plan by working closely with our cross functional teams (Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Category Management, Sales Ops) to deliver superior analysis, recommendations, and process enhancement as we strive to build a High Performance Team.

To be successful in this role you should have consumer product/retail grocery experience and be familiar with the Direct Store Delivery process and Warehouse Delivery. You should have advanced skills in Microsoft office products including PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables), and be experienced working with Margin Minder, Siebel, and IRI data.

Location and Travel:

This role will be based in the field office/distrubition center in Pittsburgh PA with attendance required at some customer HQ calls with minimal travel.


•Create, maintain and communicate all daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the sales team; Update Matrix weekly, Key Customer weekly out of stock (OOS) reporting to sales teams, Margin Minder/IRI tracking for Distribution & Availability (D&A)

•Administer and communicate promotional event tracking, long term opportunities and new item status recaps, utilizing IRI and Margin Minder reporting

•Maintain pricing records and be accountable for the timely communication and submission to Key Customer pricing portals

•Work closely with internal team to ensure accuracy and timelessness of trade announcements and MyDay submissions

•MyDay Execution Metrics - Analysis and reporting to National Account Executive and operations concerning new and missed opportunities (utilizing Rev Tool tracking)

•Manage New & Current Item Vendor Books in Customer's Portal

•Be a resource for buyers to assist with our route to market (RTM) and new item set ups

•Create external and internal PowerPoint presentations

•Oversee and Manage Team Share Drive, Reporting & Score carding

•Communicate Customer Store Openings/Closings/Hierarchy changes



•Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution

•Minimum 2 years of experience using MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables)

•Minimum 1 year of experience with retailer portal or internal retailer process interaction preferred

•Prefer experience in "Fortune 500" company, or in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage, or related industries

Experience successfully developing sales plans and executing via an effective sales strategy
Demonstrated leadership skills, exhibiting a high degree of drive and energy and the ability to consistently produce results
Well organized, analysis driven with pragmatic approach
Must be completely PC proficient, able to develop his/her own oral and visual presentations, spreadsheets and general correspondence
