SKILLS/EDUCATION/

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 1 plus year experience in merchandising or retail sales.
  2. 1 plus years in supervisory experience.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Efficient in Microsoft Office Products
  5. Required to drive to sites (customers stores) in Southern and North Eastern AZ and meet with merchandisers
  6. AUTO: Personal vehicle in good working order. Current and active car insurance. A current driver's license. Auto and gas allowance to be consistent to the current Division Expense Schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule and assist in new store sets and assign resets.
  • Proper use of category, product management and merchandising techniqueTraining of personnel.
  • Responsible for the productivity and control of overtime of merchandisers.
  • Develop work-related skills, and people skills.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for serviced accounts, sets and resets.
  • Accountable for completing job assignments in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for keeping costs within proper restraints.
  • Inform Sales Rep's and Area Managers of opportunities for addition sales.
  • Develop and maintain communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain a professional work ethic, attitude, and policies.
  • Maintain good customer relations.
  • Responsibility of maintaining all assigned equipment.
  • Responsible to report hours worked to payroll and related expense reports.
  • Maintain vacation schedules.
  • Responsible for the discipline of workers when appropriate.
  • Maintain, train and inform work related safety standards to all merchandisers.
  • Assist the Merchandising Manager in the selection of hiring new personnel.
  • Work with and assist the Merchandising Manager on specific projects.
  • Utilize company established communication tools.
  • Other duties as assigned
