As a Warehouse Supervisor, your will manage the warehouse ensuring the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse, and that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the right destinations and in the right quantities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee efficient operations of warehouse experience.
  • Monitors warehouse employee productivity/quality in accordance with the standards developed by the operations group.
  • Develops and implements action plans (eg., facility/equipment improvements) designed to improve warehouse employee productivity/quality.
  • Determines warehousing personnel and equipment requirements by evaluating warehouse activities, projected volumes, customer base, and product mixes, in accordance with productivity standards.
  • Ensures that Core-Mark, OSHA and DOT standards for warehousing, distribution and employee safety are met.
  • Assists with implementing corporate policies and procedures for security.
  • Ensures effective marshalling and integrity of warehouse inventory.
  • Assists with Implements corporate procedures for handling customer returns, vendor returns, and obsolete inventory.
  • Performs periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Performs cycle counts and investigates "red-lines" and out of stocks to keep perpetual inventory system accurate.
  • With the operations group, identifies requirements and implements training programs for the warehouse employees.
  • Has responsibility for the selection and hiring of all candidates for warehouse positions. Directs their activities, evaluates their performance
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Must have minimum of 5 years' experience in Warehouse Operations.
  • BA/BS or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years or more of demonstrated experience within the warehouse industry.
  • Strong oral/written skills.
  • Proficient at Excel and Word.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and electronically.
  • Must be willing to work night shift and holidays.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
