Outbound SMB Sales Development Representative

MarketStar's Client Business team is seeking Sales Representatives for SMB and Mid-Market Sales teams. Candidates will represent a leader in file storage and collaboration technology. As a high volume contributor, you will be responsible for managing great customer experiences through a professional and thoughtful approach to contacting leads and identifying decision makers to qualify and drive key opportunities.

The ideal candidate is experienced at building a pipeline of opportunities through high-volume activity in a consultative/challenger sales environment. You will represent a globally recognized leader with integrity and humility while providing concise and accurate answers to business questions through positive and meaningful interactions. We want candidates who have proven experience in reaching decision-makers through a high volume of activity and can develop meaningful and positive interactions that lead to great customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes for Success:

  • Contact leads in the small to medium business category via phone and e-mail to qualify and develop a pipeline of opportunities

  • Uncover prospect needs and challenges

  • Leverage a proven sales processes to create new opportunities

  • Engage in solutions-based, business-level conversations to influence customers and solve their business challenges

  • Maintain an professional level of comprehensive knowledge of client's products and services

  • Manage an exceptional customer experience and partner relationships

  • Determined solution consultant

  • Use a number of efficiency and relationship management tools effectively

What is required to be considered?

  • 1-2 years of similar or related experience selling into small & medium business (preferably Internet, Cloud, SaaS, Storage)
  • Proven success of at least one year of exceptional sales attainment in a high-volume, quota-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) including outstanding telephone presence
  • Ability to leverage data-driven input in your approach to customers
  • Self-motivated and accountable, combined with strong sense of teamwork
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A passion for sales with proven success in sales attainment
  • Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology
