JOB SUMMARY

Each H&R Block Retail Store Manager plays an essential leadership role in our U.S. Retail Operations, leading a team of 40-60 highly trained tax professionals at up to four locations. H&R Block Retail Store Managers are responsible for delivering top-line and bottom-line business results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively lead and manage a large team of associates across multiple locations
  • Ensure strong client experiences for both new and returning clients
  • Grow new clients through effective local marketing plan execution
  • Embrace continual learning and participate in customized training and ongoing leadership development opportunities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business orother related field OR an equivalent combination of education andexperience preferred
  • Minimum of three years of relatedexperience working in a retail environment; prefer minimum two years retail management experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Assertive, proactive management approach
  • Results-driven with strong business acumen skill set
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills
  • Good decision making skills and theability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to exercise independent judgmentwith minimal supervision
  • Strong organizationalskills sufficient to plan and manage day-to-day office operations in multiplelocations
  • Demonstrated aptitude for businessplan execution and desire to grow the business
  • Interpersonal and client-orientationskills focused on actively seeking to understand and meet client needs
  • Must possess or demonstratesupervisory skills sufficient to guide associates, as well as demonstrate coreleadership behaviors to grow and develop associates
  • Understanding and previous use of aWindows-based computer system
  • Demonstrated effective facilitation/trainingskills
  • Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred
