Bookkeeper duties include:
  • Posting financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers
  • Reconciling and balancing accounts
  • Generating and analyzing financial statements
  • Preparing and processing payroll
  • Generating 1099s and W2s and calculating and preparing tax statements
  • Communicating with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts
  • Assisting in client retention and client growth opportunities

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to prepare tax return forms 1040; 1065: 1120’s; 990
  • Proficient utilizing Quick Books Accounting System
  • Processing bank reconciliations
  • Processing payroll tax returns
  • Processing sales tax returns
  • Familiar with payroll processing
  • Knowledge of financial write-up process
  • 1 – 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices, and generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
  • Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
