The Hobby Lobby buyers' office is seeking to recruit, train, and develop top collegiate talent into well-rounded Business Systems interns. This is a paid internship, working part time hours per week, Monday through Friday.
During an eight-week spring experience, interns are assigned a training manager within the Buying Resources Group and will take on meaningful work assignments while making tangible contributions to the organization's success. This program provides on-the-job training, cross-functional departmental exposure, and an end-of-program project presentation.
The goal of a Business Systems Intern is to gain insight into Hobby Lobby's merchandising, buying, and business process strategies and how these align to meet the company's financial expectations. Interns will work to develop a skill set that allows them to perform feasibility analysis and determine a project's scope while working with the project management team to prioritize deliverables.
