As a RaceTrac Store Associate, you are the front line to our ongoing customer service promise. Your energy, teamwork and winning attitude is the friendly face of RaceTrac that our customers interact with everyday and expect when they shop at RaceTrac.

Training

RaceTrac has an extensive training program for all levels of store team members. As a Store Associate you will receive training and development in a wide variety of store operations including customer service, food service, inventory management, general operations, and preventative maintenance. It is our goal to develop and equip all associates with the skills you'll need to meet our customer's expectations and have the opportunity to progress into a store management role at RaceTrac.

As a RaceTrac store associate you'll gain valuable experience in many important business disciplines while working in an environment that encourages you to learn, be challenged and to grow.

Make no mistake, this is not a job for somebody who doesn't like to stay busy. Your typical workday will include many of these responsibilities and more:

Provide excellent customer service
Run the cash register
Sweep and mop floors
Greet customers in the store
Balance cash and inventory transactions
Stock shelves and coolers
Smile and be friendly
Fill water and towels at the pumps
Keep fresh foods stocked and ready-to-eat
Sweep the parking lot
Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in the store
Brew fresh coffee
Provide excellent customer service
Inventory shelf items
Help a customer find a product
Prepare warm food service items
Empty trash containers
Greet customers at the pumps
Clean rest rooms
Receive vendor deliveries
Replace pay-at-pump receipt paper
Make a customer's day special
