The Machine Learning Specialist role involves clustering/classification, topic identification, named entity tagging and pattern identification. The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Computer Science or related field with experience in natural language processing, computational linguistics, or information retrieval/extraction. The candidate will create a world-class web data-mining system, capable of extracting sentiments, topics, meaning and structure from unstructured web documents and data. Create a system that can efficiently and effectively discover, and understand domain-specific knowledge in hundreds of millions of web pages. The successful candidate will implement the crawling, data mining, and machine-learning algorithms. Strong programming skills are required. At least two years of experience working with real life in machine learning systems is required. A strong research record is a plus.
