The Manager of Supply Chain Metrics - Analysis is responsible for leading the Analysis Team to drive insightful analyses of inventory performance across the SHC inventory investment. These analyses are expected to highlight causal factors constraining performance as well as specific tactics that need to be prioritized to improve performance. Responsibilities - Influence Design of Inventory Management Framework. Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain Metrics and Inventory Management, to identify and/or design metrics, analysis and reporting which serve the needs of the organization. - Drive Advanced Analytics Process. Apply advanced analytic methods as needed to business performance issues so as to identify causal factors underlying poor performance. - Manage Standard Reporting Process. Manage the production and distribution of designated inventory management reports consistent with the Performance Measurement Framework. - Team Development. Foster the development of the Analysis Team staff so as to improve their personal efficiency, effectiveness and business literacy. - Communication. Demonstrate considerable skill and consistency in synthesizing complex information into formats (words/pictures/numbers) that all levels of the organization can understand, relate to, and act upon. Skill/Experience Requirements - Analytical Proficiency. Working knowledge of Supply Chain principles, practices and methods. Demonstrated ability to gather information from various internal and external sources for use in analysis. Facilitation of actionable supply chain governances consistent with the performance measurement framework. - Financial Proficiency. Well-developed analytic and financial skills aimed at ensuring that our business intentions generate sustainable returns on investment for the SHC investor. Working knowledge of financial planning and forecasting process. Ability to interpret and utilize internal/external financial reporting to be leveraged for the creation of benchmarking. - Technical Proficiency. Ability to understand and effectively utilize spreadsheets, financial systems, and complex relational databases by leveraging well-developed PC skills. Ability to assimilate large amounts of information into informative, meaningful, and actionable analytical tools that produce customer centric solutions. - Behavioral. Exhibit personal behaviors consistent with SHC leadership principles. Viewed with credibility and trust by key executives across the organization. Passion to continually seek out and learn from emerging trends both within and external to the retail industry. - Leadership/Change Management. Desire and capacity to lead and create change that results in customer focus, improved supply chain efficiencies and increased profitability.
