Headquartered in Omaha, NE, Pamida operates over 200 stores many with Pharmacies throughout 17 states across the Midwest. Job Description: Mountain View, WY Pamida will open in April 2010. Duties consist of but not limited to: assisting the Store Manager with developing a positive, high-energy team environment to achieve success; supervise, develop and motivate staff in absence of Store Manager; communicate with team members through store meetings and daily huddles; assisting with planning and executing the merchandising of the sales floor, oversee store operations according to company policies and procedures as well as financial record keeping and office administration. Typical work schedule consists of approximately 50 hours per week, will include some day, night and weekend hours as well as holidays. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates should have high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of previous retail experience, and ability to communicate effectively and posses proven organizational and time management skills. Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the shift and lift merchandise frequently. Relocation may be required. |
