Job Description: Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst - Global IT Finance Location: OR-Portland What's IT like at Nike? Some things are a given. As our Senior Business Systems Analyst, you'll work as part of our Global IT Finance organization developing world-class information management reporting solutions for Nike as we expand our technical reporting capability to meet the increased needs of our business throughout the world. You'll be responsible for developing and deploying complex financial reporting solutions across multiple platforms, documenting requirements, and providing production support. You'll collaborate with Application Engineers and our business partners to develop high-level designs, including logical models and functional specifications that leverage a variety of reporting tools and platforms. You'll facilitate and drive meetings with global participation and work with team members to ensure that the developed software meets our business partner's requirements. This work will include the design and development of new solutions as well as modification of existing data models to support Finance operational and management reporting. You'll work with the business and IT teams to transition these applications into our production environment by providing support and training through the release cycle. In addition, you'll gain exposure to global scenarios, which require technical savvy in the Finance application modules, communication skills and the ability to effectively multi-task. Requirements for the position include: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology (or equivalent with focus on databases and data modeling) or a related field 5 years' technical, business or related experience 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree 2 years' experience in a Business Systems Analyst or data gathering role Ability to write complex financial reports using Cognos B Knowledge of SAP R/3 Financial modules Experience with Teradata Ability to gather and understand business requirements and translate into IT solutions Ability to design, develop, create and test reporting solutions Previous experience with understanding and documenting of the flow of data from the source systems through extraction and load process into reporting structures Ability to communicate verbally, in writing and via presentations effectively with a broad range of IT and business counterparts Experience with the complexities of cross-functional issue identification, prioritization and resolution Experience participating in multiple, complex projects and working with diverse teams in multiple locations Data Warehousing SAP BW experience is preferred, specifically experience with SAP BW Business Explorer (BEx) and/or SAP BW Financial cubes Knowledge of SAP R/3 modules and extractors Experience with data modeling and data modeling tools preferred Experience with finance is preferred Have we piqued your interest?
