Job Title: Assistant Grocery Manager - bloom Job Description: Assists the Grocery Manager in providing quality customer service to our customers through the Grocery Department and making sure policies, standards, and security measures are followed. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to and ensures achievement of proper grocery conditions. Maximizes sales through excellent customer service. Assists the Grocery Manager as necessary to train, schedule, and maintain a qualified stock crew. Stocks merchandise. Cleans shelves and shelf tag molding as needed when stocking. Rotates product. Places only saleable merchandise on the shelves. Maintains shelf allocations. Blocks the area while stocking. Places all product on shelves with the label facing the front and follows the proper skyline. Tears empty cartons down and disposes of properly. Cleans up his or her work area, sales floor, and stock room area. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 70 pounds. Ability to push or pull product up to 2000 pounds. Ability to meet production standards established by the company. Ability to recognize and maintain proper shelf allocation. This list is not all inclusive.
