Job Title: PT Prouce Associate - bloom Job Description: To provide customer service to our customers in the Produce Department. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position will contribute to and enhance achievement of proper Produce conditions. Responsible for maintaining standards according to the Produce Standard Practice Manual. Maximize sales through excellent customer service. The Produce Associate is responsible for the duties and responsibilities listed below. This list is not all-inclusive. Other duties and responsibilities may be added as needed to meet business demands. Maintains proper receiving and handling of product. Maintains production standards of product. Follows rework and reduction guidelines. Follows proper housekeeping and equipment handling and care standards. Maintains proper quality control and product level. Maintains proper quality and condition of product under supervision of Manager on Duty. Provides total customer satisfaction. Maintains proper pricing. Maintains a neat and clean appearance, according to the bloom dress code. Complies with scheduling and policy standards. Finds more efficient ways to do the job and seeks to reduce costs and improve labor productivity. Observes and corrects all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents. Unloads trucks for the Produce Department. Looks for ways to increase sales. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 60 lbs. as needed to pull and stock product. Ability to withstand for long periods a working environment of 45 F or less. Ability to organize and rotate product and complete necessary paperwork. Ability to meet productivity standards established by bloom. |
