Distribution Center Leadership - Warehouse Supervisor

  • Provides daily leadership to a group of non-exempt employees in the receipt, storage and distribution of merchandise to Best Buy Company stores, warehouses, home delivery or shuttle deliveries.
  • Using behavior based coaching and feedback, this person ensures that job duties and responsibilities of team members are safely completed in a consistent, accurate, and productive manner.
  • Responsible for coaching and developing teams to create a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement that supports our company values.
  • Supervises the receipt, shipment and documentation of all merchandise to store, shuttle and or home locations.
  • Provides, implements, and executes daily activities through proper delegation and coaching/development of teams.
  • Establishes and maintains a positive work environment where employees have avenues to give feedback and provide input on operational, policy and cultural aspects of their dept and the building.
  • Creates an environment looking for continuous mastery of change management and improvement by setting goals and objectives for department.
  • Identifies and influences behaviors that yield a safe, well-performing and quality-driven department by coaching and delivering timely feedback to employees.
  • Interprets policies and procedures and effectively communicates them to others.
  • Actively participates in special projects, company initiatives, community building events, and other leadership duties as apparent or assigned.



Basic Requirements:
  • Two years of management experience is required, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Two-year degree in Business/Logistics is preferred.
