Store Management Opportunities

Assistant Managers will have the potential to qualify for store management in as little as six to nine months.

The Assistant Manager Program is one of the first steps to starting something great with RadioShack. You'll enter the program as an Assistant Manager and progress through training modules focused on developing the skills necessary to be a successful manager. If selected to advance to Store Manager, you will receive additional training and certifications - all necessary to prepare you for your new role.

Program Requirements
Our successful Assistant Store Managers come from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels - retail, sales, technical with an engineering degree, entrepreneur/business owner, and even recent graduates. RadioShack offers extensive training that helps you be successful and grow within the company.

The minimum eligibility requirements include:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliability and high personal integrity
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Flexibility in work schedule and location assignment

    All applicants must meet one of the following criteria in addition to the minimum eligibility requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Four or more years of military experience
  • One year retail management experience
  • Two years retail-related work experience
  • One year RadioShack experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in some markets.
