Job Purpose
The Consumer Electronic Retail Specialist is a Part-Time Sales & Training position focused on supporting various name brands of consumer electronic devices. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, committed to self and driven to succeed. This person should also have strong communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store level. They must possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities without direct supervision

Job Responsibilities

Sales: Enthusiastically engage, qualify and close customers on sales of clients products; Seek sales opportunities in departments throughout the store to maximize sales and sales of related attachments.
Merchandising: Ensure products are on display, functioning properly and presentable to customers. Take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials (provided).
Training: Responsible to train Retail Sales Associates on clients' products and product benefits. Generate positive PR and Brand Awareness in-store. Ensure clients' product is "Top of Mind" among Store Associates. Increase Sales Associate recommendation of clients' product.
Personal Development / Training: Participate in initial as well as on-going product training, team meetings, client trainings, etc (paid) as a requirement.
Relationship Building: Communicate professionally and effectively with Campaigners management team, Retail Sales Associates, Retail Management Team and Customers.
Administration/Reporting: Must complete accurate and timely HR paperwork and reports online; call reports, expense reports (if applicable), training certification quizzes, etc... Participate in mandatory conference calls (paid).

Job Requirements

Previous merchandising or marketing experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent.

Behavioral Requirements:

Timely Communications Required. It is mandatory that responses to management phone calls or emails are returned within 24 hours
Professional demeanor and image compatible with the Client and Campaigners
Acts as a strategic client advisor to store management to enhance retail relationships
Independent, self -motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptable

Technical Requirements:
Must be Internet savvy with access to a computer - broadband preferred
Must have a cell phone; text messaging strongly preferred
Reliable transportation; i.e. personal car for transportation to stores/events/meetings
Access to a digital camera is highly desirable

Name tag and branded Polo shirt (provided)
Khaki or black solid pants (must be professional: no cargo or denim pants), Docker's style is approved
Closed toed sturdy shoes (no open toed, sandals, high heels, or sneakers)
