As a Store Support Associate, you will be an integral part of Macy's ability to maintain our high customer service and presentation standards by performing functions from receiving new merchandise to reconfiguring a selling floor, you will be challenged daily.

The activities that go on behind the scenes to support our selling floor are wide ranging, and the responsibilities of the Store Support Associate are wide-ranging as well:

Receiving Associate

Receive new shipments
Maintain stock rooms to departmental security standards
Process markdowns and damaged merchandise
Assist in floor moves and merchandising floor to departmental standards

Merchandising Associate

Coordinate and display merchandise on the selling floor
Must be able to merchandise new receipts in a timely manner
Place new receipts to current selling floor standards
Back stock all overflow
Assist in floor moves and merchandising floor to departmental standards
Light housekeeping

Price Change Associate

Execution of all store price changes
Ensure price tickets are marked with accuracy
Signing all price changes appropriately
Merchandise selling floor as necessary

Signer

Execution of store sign maintenance and visual presentation standards
Sign Library organization and maintenance
Ensuring that all merchandise is properly signed and in compliance with Macy's West standards.

What you need to do to succeed...

When working in a support area certain skills are critical. Some of the qualities you should possess to be a successful Store Support Associate is accuracy, dependability, strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good attendance, including following scheduled shifts and availability Monday-Friday, early mornings and weekends is a must.

The job functions of a Store Support Associate are wide ranging, but so are the promotional opportunities. Whether your future goals are to be a Group Sales Manager or a Merchandising Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow as far as your talent will take you.
